Changqing Oilfield


As of November 30, 2023, the annual oil and gas equivalent production of PetroChina Changqing Oilfield has reached 60.0985 million tons. Among them, 23.5902 million tons of crude oil and 45.818 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Exceeding 60 million tons five days ahead of the same period last year, achieving efficient and stable production of over 60 million tons for four consecutive years.

It is expected that the oil and gas equivalent will exceed 66 million tons in 2023, reaching a new historical high.



Bohai Oilfield


In 2022, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Bohai Oilfield achieved a historic high in oil and gas production, with a total crude oil production of approximately 31.75 million tons and a natural gas production of nearly 3.5 billion cubic meters, further consolidating its position as the country's largest crude oil production base. The annual oil and gas equivalent exceeded 34.5 million tons.

During the 14th Five Year Plan period, Bohai Oilfield will promote the "Seven Year Action Plan" with high quality, with the goal of producing 40 million tons of oil and gas by 2025.

As of November 24, 2023, the annual oil and gas production equivalent of Southwest Oil and Gas Field reached 30.06 million tons, including 37.52 billion cubic meters of natural gas production and 112000 tons of crude oil production.

It is expected that the oil and gas equivalent produced by PetroChina Southwest Oil and Gas Field in 2023 will reach 33.5781 million tons.


Tarim oilfield


In 2023, China Petroleum Tarim Oilfield produced 7.55 million tons of petroleum liquids and 32.6 billion cubic meters of natural gas.

Shengli Oilfield

In 2022, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) completed a total production of 5.15 million tons of crude oil and 8.75 billion cubic meters of natural gas, equivalent to 12.122 million tons of oil and gas, in the western South China Sea oilfield, becoming the largest offshore natural gas production base in China.

In 2023, the equivalent oil and gas production of the oil and gas fields in the western South China Sea exceeded 12.7 million tons.
