With the closure of the production valve of Well H1 in Bai 15, the 23rd gas production period of China Petroleum Dagang Oilfield Gas Storage Group has successfully concluded, with a cumulative gas production of 2.206 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 16%, breaking the record for annual gas production.

As the largest and most effective regional regulatory gas source in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region, the Dagang Oilfield Gas Storage Group mainly undertakes the seasonal peak shaving and emergency gas supply tasks of natural gas in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region. The extracted natural gas can reach the urban area of Beijing in two hours, making it an important supporting facility of the Shaanxi Beijing pipeline.

Li Caixiong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Tianjin Gas Storage Branch of Dagang Oilfield Company, said that over the years, the gas storage group has focused on unleashing its maximum potential, with daily gas production exceeding 10 million cubic meters, 20 million cubic meters, and 30 million cubic meters in succession. As of now, the entire reservoir group has been operating safely and steadily for 8524 days, with a cumulative gas production of 33 billion cubic meters over the years, becoming the "hard core responsibility" for ensuring natural gas supply in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.

In the current heating season of last winter and this spring, facing a series of low temperature and cold waves, the Dagang Oilfield gas storage group attaches great importance to the safe and stable supply of natural gas, breaking a series of records such as the highest gas production volume, the most high-intensity gas production days, and the highest single day gas production volume in history. Reasonably optimize production allocation in the production and operation process, strengthen coordination between upstream and downstream, continuously improve the overall operational efficiency and gas storage and peak shaving capacity of the reservoir group, and maximize the satisfaction of the living gas and winter heating needs of residents in the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region.

At present, Dagang Oilfield has launched a three-year action plan with a working gas volume of 5 billion cubic meters, continuously accelerating the construction of reserve warehouses. The plan is to double the working gas volume of the Dagang Oilfield gas storage group by 2030, and continue to contribute energy to the green and low-carbon development of the Beijing Tianjin Hebei region and more regions.
